Ideas for a promotion package for the release of an album

OCR Brief.
One brief to be chosen from the following.
1. A promotion package for the release of an album, to include a music promo video, together with two of the following three options:
a website homepage for the band
a digipak for the album’s release
a magazine advertisement for the digipak.

This was a really good piece of work, it looks professional, they aren't any clear mistakes with
camerawork that you might normally see in a students work. The colour treatment is really
good it gives it that cinematic look. The location is isolated and so you can see they took
there time to consider the make up of the video, where as groups might normally shoot on
college site.

This too was a really nice music video, there was a variety of camera angles and it followed a non-linear narrative that asks you to focus more on the themes of teen life rather than a story line, they have used Ann Gould's 7 stereotypes for example self-destructive with the close up of the smoking. Although the editing made he video non-linear, the shots were still cut together in a way that displayed the themes constantly without them overlapping or being overcrowded. Like in the other video there was a heavy use of Fx makeup which showed a depth of skill

A. Gould- Self destructive youth, close up of smoking.

G. Philo- Hoodie Culture- Vandalism of kids park.

J. Butler- Queer Theory, Two females kissing, gender trouble, challenging the norms.

This music video is based around  guys girlfriend who sleeps around with other guys at the club. Our video could be based around a club setting and a few young men who are out drinking for the first time and they take it too far.

This video is based of a woman who is in a coma and there is this man trying to save her in the dream and he tracks down this tribe.

This is a deep video of Jeff Buckley performing the song Hallelujah. Considering the lyrics of the song we could have a video of a man revisiting past memories and it could be dark gritty and sexual.
