A broken middle-aged man endures pain one more time to put the past to rest.

ACT I
There is no music at the start of the video, just the faint ticking of a clock as the camera pans over the room, where it fixates on a phone for a brief second before it starts to buzz. The protagonist reaches over to his bed side cabinet and picks up the phone. He lays on his side in the bed before slowly sitting upright. The call is from an old friend he lost touch with long ago, the protagonists face is weary as if he has endured a long life. His eyes begin to tear up as he hears of the passing of his first love. As he stands in the dead of night over her grave to pay his respects, the music begins to play, he doesn't leave anything on her grave as the memories they had together are enough.

ACT 2
He walks down the lamp lit street where he sees his younger self place his coat round this young woman's shoulders before carrying her home. A smile begins to form on his face but it is quickly replaced with tears, followed by a frustrated kick out at the wall next to him. Recomposed he walks by the bridge over the lake where they used to walk their dog and where she later agreed to marry him. His older self stands on the bridge looking out over the empty meadow. There is then a moment of passion, where her hands can be seen scratching down his back and red marks can be seen. They then lie there in each others arms, the room lit by candle light, the bed a mess around them. The middle-aged man then stands in the room the bed is spotless and the only light that can be seen, comes from the alarm clock.

ACT 3
They get a letter from the bank to say their loan has been rejected, an argument ensues and she slams the photo of them onto the floor the frame smashes on impact. The man sits on his bed holding the broken frame in his hands and he pulls the photo out and puts it in his pocket. They fall further apart as he becomes aware of her new found reliance on drugs and alcohol, she becomes abusive towards him, hitting him in his sleep, stealing his money but he still feels the same about her. They finally break and she can be seen throwing the engagement ring across the lake. He falls to his knees crying, the middle-aged man can be seen kneeling too picking up a few pebbles in his hands and he begins to skim them across the lake.

ACT 4
He returns to the cemetery and to her grave, he takes out the photo from his jacket which he places down on her grave he walks away smiling, he can finally let the past go.

The video portrays the biography of the protagonist through use of mobile phone recording as a vlog, experiencing a roller coaster of emotions through their adventure to a theme park.

The opening of the music video will start off with the perspective of a teenager (protagonist) getting up in the morning and looking towards the alarm clock, eventually getting up to draw back the curtains. The protagonist rushes to prepare breakfast in the kitchen and then after watch the news on TV. After, the teenager goes back to their bedroom and on their way there, other members of their family are introduced. They are acting suspiciously around the protagonist, however they ignore it and continues to prepare for college. Then act 1 will close with the protagonist saying their goodbyes to the family and walking out of the house, starting their journey to college.

Following this, the video will continue with the protagonists perspective about their day at college. Before lesson, the teenager meets with their peers and goes for a coffee before starting college. After, each character continue to walk to college and walk through the reception into the Sixth Form building. A time lapse then occurs and skips to their lunch time, where they will walk into the town centre and get their lunch, then another time lapse occurs when the characters walk back to the college.

The protagonist then walks past conflict which is occurring between two random people in the public on the journey home near the town centre on the cycle tracks, and nearly gets involved as one of the people are pushed into them. When the main character gets home, Thorpe Park tickets are shown on the table with a note saying "pack up, we are leaving now" and looks up to another character standing towards the door prepared leave the house. The characters then travel to Thorpe Park by car. Eventually, the rest of the day is spent riding roller coasters, water rides and going to parties within the park.

Before the protagonist leaves the theme park, there is a technical error on the roller coaster and leaves people trapped. Others surrounding are panicking and try to escape the park before the roller coaster falls. The protagonist and the family run towards the exit of the theme park, but will they make it in time?
